  GLINA

Biographical Information

After majoring in art at UCLA, Westwood, California USA, Glina began an International Modeling career. Her extensive travels introduced her to many of the world's artists, cultures and sights which helped intensify her passion for art.

Settling in Venice Italy, Glina began her "Venetian Period" which included her "Life in Art" series of abstract oils. Her work was available at the 5 star Hotel Danieli and purchased by major European collectors including several commissioned works. She has a limited number of commissioned works in the USA.

A new artists' community in Southern California is where Glina has established her studio. Her original oil painting, "Flight, Training Wheels & Wings", under her full name of Esther Glina Montagner, is the only original art as part of the permanent collection in the Air & Space Museum at Balboa Park (San Diego, CA USA).

Her most recent project of 35 oil paintings, "Those People", has been installed as a permanent exhibit at the Virginia Holocaust Museum.

The series '2A' was created by Glina in collaboration with Rich Stergulz. All other works, unless otherwise specified, were created and produced by Glina.
